From conference paper to journal article
After the conference, the organisers considered high quality papers for special issues of participating international journals. The route gave authors a chance to develop a conference contribution into a fuller journal article with additional data, analysis or discussion.
The International Journal of Hydrogen Energy, published by Elsevier on behalf of the International Association for Hydrogen Energy, is the association's official journal. Conference editions have also worked with other journals in the field.
What happened after the conference
- Presentation The paper was presented in an oral or poster session.
- Selection The organisers identified papers with strong review outcomes and a clear fit with a journal's scope.
- Development Authors extended the work and prepared it for the journal's own review process.
- Publication The journal made the final decision on acceptance and publication.
Special issue publication was not automatic and depended on the journal's review. The accepted papers page describes the conference review route.
