One programme, two ways to take part
The 23rd edition was designed as a hybrid event. Delegates could attend in Istanbul or join the sessions online, and the exhibition had both physical and virtual space. The aim was not to run two separate events but to keep one conversation open to people who could not travel.
The technical programme covered the full chain: production, separation and purification, storage, delivery, conversion, fuel cells and end use. Sessions also addressed policy, regulation, safety, economics and the social dimensions of the transition.
How the week was shaped
Plenary and keynote talks
Invited speakers set the frame for the day, linking specialist work to the larger questions facing the hydrogen economy.
Parallel technical sessions
Researchers presented papers across production routes, storage methods, fuel cell types, systems modelling and policy.
Poster sessions
Posters gave authors a direct route to feedback and gave delegates a way to sample work outside their own specialism.
Exhibition and social programme
Companies showed products and services, while receptions and a gala dinner made space for informal meetings.
What a delegate could expect
